Mamma Lina’s Italian Restaurant is a firmly established favourite destination for families, friends and couples who enjoy traditional, freshly prepared Italian dishes in Rogerstone, Newport.

We are fortunate that the reputation of the restaurant has grown to attract not only local residents, but those who travel from around the area to enjoy romantic meals or more lively nights out with friends and family.
Our Story
Massimo, who was running his own restaurant in Manchester at the time, teamed up with close family friend Gianluca Pandolfi and together made the decision to resurrect Mamma Lina’s.
Six years ago, they chose to open the new Mamma Lina’s in Rogerstone, Newport. Employing family members and using the same traditional recipes previously used in Cardiff, the restaurant was an immediate success. Within twelve months of opening they needed a larger venue, and moved to the 160-seater restaurant on Tregwilym Road that we still call home today.
